Q: How quickly do I get my commission check?
A: Normally at closing. (If all paperwork is complete.) Keller Williams allows agents to be paid directly at the closing table.
Q: Do I have to get my own Errors & Omissions Insurance?
A: No, Our office has a flat rate of $14.00 per month for each agent.                   
Q: Is there a Royalty Fee or Franchise Fee with Keller Williams?
A: Yes, Keller Williams Realty funds it's University with a Franchise or Royalty fee of 6% per transaction. Although, the company has a split for commissions, there is a maximum annual fee of $21,000.00 ($3,000.00 to KWRI and $18,000.00 to the Market Center.)  This maximum is the “cap”. Once the "cap" is reached, all commissions earned by the KW associate during the remainder of their fiscal year with KW will be paid without any Royalty or Franchise Fee.  This cap is not guarenteed, if you do not generate enough commissions to "cap" you do not owe the diffrence.                            
Q: Are there mandatory transaction fees?
A: No, at Keller Williams Realty your business is your business and charging transactions fees are up to individual associates.    
Q: Do you charge fees for company referrals?
A: No, there are no penalties for accepting company referrals. Why would a company give a referral only to charge for it????
Q: Am I required to recommend your vendors?
A: No, we have built relationships with excellent individuals and companies but you are under no obligation to use them.
Q: How long does it take to transfer my license?
A: Once you fill out the paperwork and give us a check for twenty-five dollars we will get it down to the commission for them to process it.
Q: Can I switch brokers without losing business?
A: Absolutely, we do all of the transfer work for you and our systems allow you to seamlessly continue to service your customers without having to reinvent your business. Your listings are your listings and your business is your business.
Q: What do I pay and are there any hidden fees?
A: No hidden fees. Actually Keller Williams is an open book company therefore we do not hide any fees. All associated fees with Keller Williams Realty, Ft. Lauderdale are fully disclosed to agents from day one. Dollar for dollar we have the best value proposition for agents in Real Estate.
